About You  

You love events and conferences even if they are virtual these days. In some capacity, you have worked as an event planner, project manager or event marketer at an association, corporation or marketing agency. You know what it takes to promote and execute a professional conference or B2B event and appreciate the magic of bringing thousands of people together to connect, entertain and educate. Bonus points if you have recently been involved in planning a virtual conference 👍

As the Event Success Manager at EventMobi, you will have a very unique role in proactively educating, onboarding, problem-solving and implementing technology solutions for our top tier clients. You will work closely with our Account Management, Product and Customer Support teams to ensure that our customers love using EventMobi and come back year after year.


YOU WILL:


  • Be the first point of contact for our amazing customers when they need help—we work with professional event planners and event marketers working at large corporations or associations.
  • Be responsible for initial onboarding, strategy conversations and building ongoing relationships with key customers; to help them increase the use of EventMobi products within their organization
  • Work with customers to establish and achieve KPIs for their events
  • Identify opportunities to improve our own work process that will positively impact the experience of our customer base.
  • Stay on top of active events and project manage from conception to post-event by liaising with various team members from graphics design, support, product and sales teams.  
  • Ensure customers are aware of EventMobi initiatives and product updates.
  • Occasionally be able to support event planners outside of normal working hours (evenings and weekends) particularly when you are travelling or on-site at events (EventMobi provides time in lieu in these situations).


 

YOU HAVE:


  • 5-10 years experience as a project manager, event organizer or customer success within the Events Industry, Marketing Consulting, or Software Technology, with proven success managing existing accounts and relationships from a service delivery perspective.
  • A love of technology and a passion for its impact on our industry.
  • The ability to think outside of the box and develop creative strategy to continually improve the experience of our customers.
  • An empathetic personality and care about solving problems and helping people.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills.
  • Top-notch organizational skills and are adept at multitasking and thorough in your documentation and follow-up practices.
  • Prior experience providing in-person support or on-site services is a plus. 
  • Double Bonus points if you have any experience working with AV teams or planning virtual events.
